I am a 19-year old Philosophy student and aspiring journalist/editor. So far I have written only for myself and UCL’s MODO Mag, but I hope to become a published writer and edit an established publication one day. Alongside creative direction, I am interested in marketing and PR, events coordination, and media law. My favourite topics to write about, discuss, and photograph are ‘cute’ culture, marketing and consumer psychology (especially in fandom culture), ethics and questions of identity.

I currently hold the positions of Head of Production and Welfare Officer for UCL’s MODO Fashion Society, as well as Social Media Secretary for UCL Street Aid Society. In my degree I particularly enjoy political philosophy and the philosophy of mind, and I am also enrolled this year in modules in Contemporary Art History and Level 5 Mandarin (having achieved an A* in my Mandarin GCSE in 2023).
